Strategic partnership

PLM started a strategic partnership with a compagny abroad. More info soon.

Special lifting tool

2025

A custom lifting tool was delivered and succesfully used to lift a 50 metric ton item. It was manipulated it in several ways; up, rotated 90°, moved sideways, secured and stored and back again. The item was located three decks below main deck, with the only access point being a round hole of 1,5m in diameter in the main deck.

85m³ Hopper

2023

PLM delivered a 85m³ mobile hopper. The hopper is designed to be lifted by the customers existing PLM crane. It can be layed down flat on the customers ship to maintain a low creep line. The hopper opening can be controlled both via remote and by an attached handheld controller for the truck driver to load his own truck.

Undercarriage

2023

PLM delivered a custom designed 132 metric ton undercarriage spanning 17.2m. The electric powered traction winch moves the undercarriage along the cargo bay of a seagoing vessel. It is designed and built under DNV-ST-0377 to perform unloading operations up to 2,5m significant wave height.
